Venice Auto Repair

UPDATED: Recently went back and found that this amazing representative Jeff who was the main reason I felt so confident about using this place, had left, and new staff didn't want to take time to help. I was stopped by someone in parking lot on my way out, and they informed me that the person I was looking for was now working at Pit Stop Auto Repair Shop in South Venice, so I went there and found this person and he again made sure I was taken care of, and the work was done, and at even a better price. I was recently in the market for a newer car, so contacted American Import Auto to see if I could bring any potential cars I might be interested by for a free inspection and if there were obvious issues. The man who answered phone was named Jeff he was super friendly and helpful, made me feel super comfortable. I ended up bringing 2 cars there and called Jeff so he knew I was coming, got right to me, and gave a full inspection as well as how much in repairs it would cost. Which I thought was over and above the level of service you get at most mechanic shops. I ended up bringing in 3rd car and again got me right in, inspected, gave me estimate and even took time to look up Kelly Blue Book price, so I would be better informed when went back to buy. I bought the car and brought the car up the next day, Jeff took the time to go over each item needing repair, gave me options on parts and possible upgrades, and then after we got finished with what I wanted, I never felt so informed from a mechanic shop. I had them do the work, it was done on time actually a little earlier than promised, and he game in under the estimated price. Now that just seemed insane, most times they always go over, and call for extra this and that, but not with American Import Auto, and I won't every go anywhere to get service work done but there and deal with Jeff. I wish I could leave 6 stars as this service was just above and beyond anything I had experienced before. Made me proud to be supporting a locally owned and operated business, I couldn't tell the owners how wonderful the man Jeff was so I figured writing this review was the next best thing. For anyone out there wanting work done on any type of automobile, call Jeff at American Import Auto, you will love the attention to detail and service provided.

I have always had reliable, professional, honest service at American Import. My parents have gone to American Import for almost 20 years and they have never ONCE been disappointed, so I knew to expect excellent service. Gloria Casey

Best repair shop in Venice

I find if you can locate a repair facility that has service techs with years of experience, providing quality work, at a reasonable cost, locally, your better off financially letting them repair and maintain your vehicle. In contrast to maintaining a never ending monthly vehicle payment with the inability to fine tune your vehicle ins coverage. BTW, I had the clutch replaced in less than two days on my 2010 Scion XB. Has a 3 year 36k mi warranty. I recommend this shop.
