Why Is The Car With Squiggly Lines and The ABS Light on Dash Hey there everyone! Welcome back to our blog page! We recently had a vehicle in the shop that had a few dash lights on on a Volkswagen. We thought it would be a good idea to dive into two of them to see what kind of diagnosing extent a technician may need to go through to find the cause of the problem. (photo taken from actual digital vehicle inspection) In this vehicle, the customer had two lights on together on the dash, the ABS light and the "car with squiggly lines" better known as the Traction Control light. Now, before we get into it, this is just a scenario for what we found with this vehicle, this does not necessarily mean that if these two lights are on together, that this will always be the same diagnosis. Auto Repair Shop Ending Hunger in Southwest Florida Part II Back in November we had run a campaign to collect canned goods, non perishables, hygiene products and even pet products for the South County Food Pantry. We decided to keep the food drive running through the new year and even had help from another auto repair shop on the East coast of Florida, A&H Automotive. Through these gracious efforts we hope to get the food Pantries and food banks back in good standing since hurricane Ian swept through. We received boxes of goods from A&H automotive and items from our local clientele that all contributed to our second haul for the South County Food Pantry. A&H understood what all entails when you are hit with a category 5 hurricane, so they jumped right in to help us with our initiative. We couldn't be more thankful for the support we have received from them and all contributing businesses over on the east coast to make this possible.  ... read more
